Let It Snow!

Today we got the biggest snow in Chattanooga in over 10 years! It is beautiful and we got to play in it a little bit today and I'm sure we will more tomorrow. Luckily we were all home and didn't have to travel because the roads are really bad. This is when it first started before the roads were covered.
This was a few hours later when we had at least two inches on top of the cars
One of the snow men the neighbors made and spray painted! I have never seen spraypaint on a snowman, I thought that was pretty creative!
Haden having fun out in the snow! Our street just before dark, so pretty!

Me and my little snow bunny who didn't like it so much! You can barely see the snow still coming down!

Haden warming up on the vent after playing! A trick he learned from his daddy!
Hope to have more fun tomorrow!

Weekend at the Cabin

We spent the last weekend at the cabin as a request from my dad to go before he has to go back to Spring Training. We got up there Saturday afternoon and came back Monday afternoon. It rained all weekend which is the perfect weather for napping, eating, and sitting by the fire! We had a good, relaxing time with the family!

No cabin trip would be complete without games and puzzles. Here is Haden and Kaylee working a puzzle together!
Haden being a ham eating grapes on the counter!

Here is Kendall napping on Stephanie.

This is a picture I took of Kendall in the morning before anyone else was up. I loved spending quiet time in the morning there just us girls! Check out that physique! It's not easy being beautiful!

Two Months Old!

Kendall was two months old on January 20th. The time has gone by so fast and I can't believe I have to go back to work on February 1st. Kendall has been a challenging but good baby. I have no complaints during the day, she is quiet and on a good schedule. She eats every 3 hrs, then stays awake about an hour, then she's ready for a rest until it's time to eat again. She really doesn't like to be held that much, she likes to play in the floor, and she loves her swing. Recently when she gets tired I swaddle her up and lay her in her bed awake and she goes to sleep on her own which is great. Nighttime has been a different story! She was in the beginning cranky at night after her last bottle, and after her middle of the night feedings, she would not go right back to sleep as the books say she should! She would be up and fuss! The doctor told us it was colic, however, we have recently come to believe she has reflux. I always thought babies had to spit up alot to have reflux, which Kendall does not. Now I have come to learn that there are other signs. She is now taking Zantac two times a day and seems to feel better and is eating better day and night! She actually slept from 10 pm until 6:45 am last night which I hope was not a fluke!

Wrestlemania!

For those of you that don't know, Haden is obsessed with wrestling! He knows their names, their songs they enter the ring with, how they walk in, and their finishing moves! It's really quite funny. So for Christmas, Santa brought him two tickets to the WWE at UTC! He and Travis went this past Sunday and he had a blast! That is all he has talked about since and he can't wait to go back! I will post a video soon of him doing some of his acting like the wrestlers!
Here is Haden before he left holding his Big Show and Triple H figures to have a pretend match in the car before the real one at the show!
One of the guys at the show. I don't know his name, but I'm sure Haden could tell you!

Here he is with all his loot! He got glow sticks and John Cena wrist bands and headbands!

Birthday Fun!

Last weekend we had fun at a birthday party for one of Haden's good friends Chase. He turned three and had his party at Pump It Up! I wish I would've gotten more pictures, but it is a little harder to take pictures when you are watching an infant too!
Playing in the jumpy house with friends!
After pizza and cake we all got pirate stuff! Here are Haden's best friends, Chase and Cash!
Having a great time!

Sweet babies!

I took this picture this morning and just thought it was cute! Haden got out of bed and came down to our bed this morning and fell back asleep with me and Kendall. After I got up they both slept a little longer and they were so sweet lying there.

Happy 80th Birthday Paw Paw!

Wednesday night we celebrated my grandfather's 80th birthday! He is the only Granpa left on either side of our family, and he is such a special man. He is so sweet and kind, and he loves his great grandchildren! We hope to spend many more birthdays with you Paw Paw! All the great grandkids call him Paw Paw 2!Here are my grandparents with all of their 8 great grandkids right before they helped blow out his candles!
Here is Nannie and Paw Paw 2 enjoying their youngest great grandbaby, Kendall!

Growing Girl!

Kendall is 7 weeks and 4 days today and we went for her 6 week well visit. She weighed 10 lbs 8 ounces (50%), and she is 22 3/4 inches (50-75%)! She sure is growing fast! The doctor said everything looks great and gave me some reassuring words about her colic she has been showing signs of in the evening. I used to not believe in colic, but Kendall has made me a believer! Its not the horrible stories you hear, but it has been trying. After her last bottle between 9:30 and 11:00 she becomes fussy and restless, and just can't sleep well. One night it was so bad she pretty much cried from 9-3 am. Luckily it is not that bad every night. And what is so strange is that she is an angel during the day, never cries or fusses. I have been worried that I am spoiling her because in order to get any sleep, I have been laying her down in our bed because she refuses her bed in the night (although it is just fine during the day!). The doctor reassured me that until she is 4 months she can't really be spoiled and I have to do what I need to in order to rest. So I feel much better! Here are some pictures I took just before her shots, all four of them poor baby.

Girls Night Out!

Every year a few of my college friends and I get together for our annual Christmas party. We usually do the get together before Christmas, but with the arrival of Kendall this year we postponed it a little, and the three of them drove to Chattanooga from Nashville and stayed with me. Travis was nice enough to take both kids to his parents to spend the night so we could have a great night out and I could get caught up on some much needed sleep! Thanks Travis!! We had a great time on our 11th year of doing Christmas together!

First we did some shopping and got manicures at the mall!

Next we had dinner and drinks at Abuelos Mexican restaurant.

When we got home we opened presents. We each got a gift from one of the other girls, and also an ornament for our youngest children!
Last we enjoyed cupcakes from Gigi's! We got four and sampled some Midnight chocolate, Birthday surprise, and Red velvet. All were very delicious! Can't wait for next year girls!!

Master of Puzzles!

One of Haden's new favorite things to do is puzzles. We discovered this a couple of months before Christmas, and honestly we are amazed at how good he is at doing them. Now I've never seen any other kids his age do a puzzle, but I am sure that Haden is above average!! Honestly, he is pretty impressive to see do a puzzle and he's pretty quick at them too!

Here is one of his puzzles that he got from Santa. It is a Cars puzzle that has 46 jumbo pieces for the floor.

He's still working on it here with a little help from Mom, and a little distraction from cartoons on tv! He asks for help occasionally, but if you just leave him alone he can usually do it by himself!!

Here is the completed masterpiece! As you can see it is not even a typical puzzle with even edges which makes it more difficult even for Mommy! We got lots of new puzzles from Santa and grandparents for Christmas and I have already worked them all!
